We start the day at a relaxing 9am picking you up at your accommodation or a pre-arranged point in Adelaide or Glenelg (8.30am). From Adelaide, we travel through the Adelaide Hills with our first stop the famous Whispering Wall where you will be fascinated by its famous acoustic qualities.
The best wine Australia has to offer
Our first winery is the beautiful and historic Château Yaldara, this is one of the most photographed buildings in South Australia and no trip to the Barossa Valley is complete without getting a photo in front of this iconic building.
Our trip continues with a cruise through some of the most picturesque scenery in the Barossa Valley. We cross the world famous Jacobs Creek as we head toward the heart of the Barossa Valley, the beautiful and historic township of Tanunda. We have time to wander up the main street and visit some local shops and points of interest, a perfect place to find a souvenir or a coffee.
Lunch is a regional highlight. While we enjoy some of the Barossa’s most internationally acclaimed wines at the beautiful Peter Lehmann winery a platter of the best meats, cheeses, olives, assorted vegetables and freshly baked bread the Barossa Valley has to offer is brought to your table. (There is a great vegetarian regional plate option also)
After lunch we take a leisurely stroll to one of the most historic and beautiful wineries in the Barossa, Langmeil is home to the oldest known Shiraz vineyard in the world. We walk along this vineyard and into their rustic cellar door where we enjoy their world famous Barossa wines.
From Langmeil our next stop is the Mengler’s Hill Lookout where we take in the panoramic and breath-taking views over the beautiful Barossa Valley.
For our final wine tasting experience we visit Lindsay Wines where we fuse art, wine and music. Enjoy a relaxing tasting here while we listen to the winery’s intriguing history as a cool vinyl record plays in the background.
We finish our wonderful Barossa Valley experience by feasting our eyes on the beauty of the famous Seppeltsfield region. We view the iconic Seppeltsfield winery as we travel along the iconic Boulevard of Date Palms – a perfect photo opportunity before expressing back to Adelaide.
